Team Report (Volume 6)
The Scott Wilson show continues.
With 1 swing of the bat Scott Wilson brought tears to the faces of the crowd of 15 plus, with his first home run in at least 10 years. With 1 swing of the bat Alan Edwards brought tears of laughter to the entire city when he struck out swinging! (he actually fouled it, barely) O-E-A continued on their hot streak with a doubleheader sweep to run their win streak to 9 and record to 10 - 4. The night was not entirely fairy tale like as some grumblings were heard from self proclaimed "All World Coach" Kevin Dennemann. In his post game press conference Kevin was questioning the ability of their "Hall of Fame" manager Virgil Bohlen Jr. "Why in the hell would he have that Edwards guy in the line up? Alan doesn't HIT the toilet when he pee's. If I'm not in the lineup soon he will be looking for another 3rd base coach". When asked to respond to Dennemann's comments, Hall of Fame Coach Virgil Bohlen Jr. quipped "the BASTARD has his own press conference?"
In other news, the noose might have been loosened just a little from around team captain Brian Malloch's neck. In the third inning of game 2 Brian smacked an inside the park GRAND SLAM! This is only his second hit since being named team captain.
